You and a friend are embarking on an epic 11-day National Geographic Expedition to soak up the wonder of ancient rainforests, awww-inducing wildlife and the rich culture of Malaysian Borneo. This trip is basically the real life version of Hostile Planet’s jungle episode—but it’ll be anything but hostile. You’ll glide along the jungle waterways of the Kinabatangan River. Roam through the canopy of a 130 million-year-old rainforest with little to no human disturbance. Visit the orangutan rehabilitation center of the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve and witness this adorable endangered species in their natural habitat. All donations made in connection with a fundraising campaign are paid to Charities Aid Foundation of America (“CAFA”), an IRS-recognized, U.S. public charity whose mission is to make giving internationally and domestically safe, easy and effective for U.S. donors. CAFA prequalifies each Charity as an eligible recipient of CAFA grants. At the end of each fundraising campaign, so long as the Charity continues to qualify as an eligible recipient of CAFA grants, CAFA will make a grant to the Charity of the net proceeds of the fundraising campaign.

Details: Winner and guest will go on National Geographic’s Borneo Wildlife Adventure trip. Subject to availability. Flights included.
All other prize expenses not specified herein shall be the sole responsibility of prizewinner including, without limitation, additional excursions that are not already included in the itinerary, and excludes optional or additional services or meals not expressly included in the itinerary, transfers, insurance, amendments, transportation not expressly included in the itinerary, delivery, processing and handling fees, gratuities, and/or personal purchases. Size and type of room, shall be at Sponsor’s sole discretion and subject to availability. The prizewinner must comply with all check-in requirements, including but not limited to the presentation of a major credit card.
Prize is for travel in 2020. If the potential prizewinner does not book and provide proof of booking to Sponsor by August 30, 2019, then such potential prizewinner shall forfeit the prize in its entity and an alternate prizewinner may be drawn and confirmed from the remaining eligible entries received. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2020.

Who's Eligible:
You must be at least 16 years old to win. Winners under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian as their Guest. Guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18), unless Winner is the legal guardian of Guest and Guest is at least 5 years of age or older at the time of travel. In addition to Winner requirements (detailed below), Guest must complete and return a publicity and liability release prior to departure. If Winner is the legal guardian of Guest, Winner must execute and return all required documents on behalf of such child or legal ward.
If Winner and/or Guest reside outside the country where experience will take place, Winner and/or Guest must have current, valid passports, and be able to travel to the experience location(s). If they are unable to travel to the experience location(s), they will forfeit the prize. Winners must not be residents of Belgium, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Italy, North Korea, Singapore, Sudan, Syria or Thailand. In certain countries, local rules and laws may restrict or prohibit the award of certain prizes or impose additional restrictions on participation. Entry is subject to all local laws. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, Charity, or Prize Provider, and members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to win.
Individuals may not receive more than one major/grand prize and one minor prize within the same 18 month period.

Selection Process:
Conditional Winners will be chosen through a random selection process by Omaze or its representative. Odds of winning depend on the number of tickets held. A verification process will take place during which conditional Winners will be required to sign paperwork re-confirming their eligibility and their ability to participate on given dates. Omaze may also perform background checks, at its discretion, before an official Winner is announced.
