All donations made in connection with a fundraising campaign are paid to Charities Aid Foundation of America (“CAFA”), an IRS-recognized, U.S. public charity whose mission is to make giving internationally and domestically safe, easy and effective for U.S. donors. CAFA prequalifies each Charity as an eligible recipient of CAFA grants. At the end of each fundraising campaign, so long as the Charity continues to qualify as an eligible recipient of CAFA grants, CAFA will make a grant to the Charity of the net proceeds of the fundraising campaign.

Details: 

One (1) Grand Prize is available.  The prize shall consist of Details: A trip for two (2) to Botswana and Zimbabwe Safari for ten (10) days in 2019. The trip consists of the following: Arrival transfer; all transport between destinations and to/from included activities; accommodation hotels : two (2) nights, safari lodges/camps six (6) nights and bush camp one (1) night; nine (9) breakfasts, five (5) lunches, and six (6) dinners included. Airfare to and from the departure location is included. All other trip expenses not specified herein including, without limitation, additional excursions that are not already included in the itinerary, optional or additional services or meals not expressly included in the itinerary, transfers, insurance, amendments, transportation not expressly included in the itinerary, delivery, processing and handling fees, gratuities, and/or personal purchases are not included. Size and type of room, shall be at NGP’s sole discretion and subject to availability. All other prize expenses not specified herein shall be the sole responsibility of the prizewinner including, without limitation, transportation to and from the Departure Locations; any optional activities that are not listed in the itinerary, taxes, fuel surcharges, alcoholic beverages, meals, delivery, processing and handling fees, gratuities, optional or additional services such as any airfare not expressly included in the itinerary, transfers, pre/post tour accommodations, “My Own Room”; insurance, amendments and all incidentals, and transportation not expressly included in the itinerary and/or personal purchases.    No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prize (or prize component), except that Sponsor at its sole discretion may substitute a prize (or prize component), for one of equal value for any reason.  In the event that a prize component is not available for any reason, then remaining elements of prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor’s prize obligation to Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded.  The prizewinner must comply with all hotel check-in requirements, including but not limited to the presentation of a major credit card. Several travel date options will be available for the prizewinner to choose from. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2019.  The prize winner’s travel companion must be at least 13 at the time of travel.  The ARV for travel prizes is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins.  The prize winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate made in these Official Rules.  No interest will be awarded on cash prizes.  Room taxes and other hotel fees are not included and if applicable may be payable at the time of check-out by the winner/guest.  The prize restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and the prize described above may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the “Affidavit/Publicity Release” (as defined below) and/or other travel documents. 

The Grand Prize is entitled to two (2) spots on guaranteed departures of the National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures trip provided (Botswana-Zimbabwe Safari Tour) that a minimum of four paying passengers are confirmed on such departure. Grand Prize Winner must contact G Adventures directly by phone and/or email to book their prize and G Adventures must agree to the chosen departure dates.  The prize may be substituted for a prize of comparable value by G Adventures in its sole discretion.  Grand Prize Winner must possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable, and comply with any applicable hotel check-in requirements, such as presentation of a major credit card.  All aspects of the travel portions of the Grand Prize must be conducted on such dates as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. 

The dates of departure and return are subject to change at Sponsor’s sole discretion.  Other travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply.  All airline tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes.  The ARV for travel prizes may vary depending upon points of departure and destination and fare fluctuations.  Sponsor reserves the right to structure travel routes and select hotels in its sole discretion.  The ARV for travel prizes is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins.  The Grand Prize winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate made in these Official Rules.  The round trip air transportation element for any travel prize begins and ends at the point of departure.  No interest will be awarded on cash prizes.  Room taxes and other hotel fees are not included and if applicable may be payable at the time of check-out by the winner/guest.  A deposit or payment in advance, or presentation of a credit card by the Grand Prize winner, may be required at the time of check-in at the hotel.  Any hotel cancellations or changes to hotel reservations after confirmation must be made with the hotel directly, and the Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for any charges and/or fees arising from changes made directly with the hotel.  The prize restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and the Grand Prize described above may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the “Prize Claim Documents” (as defined below) and/or other travel documents.  In the event the Grand Prize winner and/or his or her travel companion engages in behavior that, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, is obnoxious or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip or other applicable experience early, in whole or in part, and send the Grand Prize winner and/or his or her travel companion home with no further compensation.  Passport, visa, and vaccination procurement and costs are the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her guests. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) for the prize package is Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Eight Dollars ($14,798.00). Odds of winning depend upon the actual number of entries received prior to the end of the Sweepstakes Period.

Who's Eligible:
You must be at least 18 years old to win. Guest must be at least 13 years of age at the time of travel. In addition to Winner requirements (detailed below), Guest must complete and return a publicity and liability release prior to departure. If Winner is the legal guardian of Guest, Winner must execute and return all required documents on behalf of such child or legal ward.

If Winner and/or Guest reside outside the country where experience will take place, Winner and/or Guest must have current, valid passports, and be able to travel to the experience location(s). If they are unable to travel to the experience location(s), they will forfeit the prize. Winners must not be residents of Belgium, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Italy, North Korea, Singapore, Sudan, Syria or Thailand. Residents of the states of New York and Florida are not eligible to win. In certain countries, local rules and laws may restrict or prohibit the award of certain prizes or impose additional restrictions on participation. Entry is subject to all local laws. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, Charity, or Prize Provider, and members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to win.

Individuals may not receive more than one major/grand prize and one minor prize within the same 18 month period.

Selection Process:
Conditional Winners will be chosen through a random selection process by Omaze or its representative. Odds of winning depend on the number of tickets held. A verification process will take place during which conditional Winners will be required to sign paperwork re-confirming their eligibility and their ability to participate on given dates. Omaze may also perform background checks, at its discretion, before an official Winner is announced.
