About the cause
For more than 30 years, Conservation International has worked to protect the nature that people rely on—including the Amazon rainforest. The Amazon basin is the lungs of the planet; it hosts the richest biodiversity of any ecosystem on Earth and provides a home and livelihoods to 30 million people. Conservation International has directly helped conserve 10% of the Amazon by partnering with governments, Indigenous people and local communities to increase and improve conservation.
