My Brother's Keeper Alliance

Born out of an understanding about the issues facing both boys and men of color and their surrounding ecosystem, MBK Alliance’s vision is to make the American Dream available to all boys and young men of color by eliminating gaps in their opportunities and outcomes. Across the country, communities are adopting innovative approaches, opening doors, strengthening supports, and building ladders of opportunity for young people, including boys and men of color, to help put them on the path to success. My Brother’s Keeper Alliance will build on that success because we understand that more must be done to help remove barriers to all young people’s success.

My Brother’s Keeper is focused on six milestones: Getting a healthy start and entering school ready to learn, reading at grade level by third grade, graduating from high school ready for college and career, successfully entering the workforce, and keeping kids on track and giving them second chances.
