About the cause
Special Olympics works in more than 190 countries and provides year-round training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. In addition to training and competitions, they also provide life-changing interventions in health, leadership training and youth development. Special Olympic athletes find joy, confidence and fulfillment—on the playing field and in life—while inspiring people in their communities to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential.
