About the cause
Established in 2013, the Steve Smith Family Foundation is dedicated to providing hope and inspiration to those in need and advancing causes that are close to the heart of the founder’s family. The Steve Smith Family Foundation champions the cause of the voiceless and fearful, envisioning an end to domestic violence, making a difference in the lives of underserved and impoverished children in the developing world, and encouraging a better quality of life for all.
The Smiths have also chosen to support the charity Kids 2 Camp through this campaign. Kids 2 Camp was established to provide scholarships to disadvantaged or disabled youth for the opportunity to attend camps. Scholarship recipients are selected by charitable partners based on need or as rewards for incentive programs or accomplishments. Kids 2 Camp finds local youth services programs and provides them funds to send children to the camps of local professional athletes administered by ProCamps Worldwide, the leading sports camp manager in the USA. Kids 2 Camp seeks a variety of camp opportunities beyond athletic camps that align with its mission.
